First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether sending text reminders to both doctors and patients can increase the number of people who complete overdue health screenings, such as mammograms, diabetes checks, and hepatitis C tests. About 16,400 adults with an upcoming primary care visit will take part. The goal is to see if simple nudges can help close care gaps and improve preventive health.
