NCT ID NCT06637358
Summary
This study tested a text message program designed to help people quit smokeless tobacco, like chewing tobacco or snuff. It involved 69 adults from rural areas who used these products regularly. The program sent daily texts with a personalized plan to gradually reduce use over 6 weeks, and some participants later received extra support from a live text coach.
