Texting for life: can simple messages stop newborn deaths?
NCT ID NCT05187897
Summary
This study tests if a text messaging service can help prevent newborn deaths in Kenya. It connects new mothers with community health workers through daily automated texts, allowing moms to ask questions and report danger signs between monthly home visits. The goal is to see if this on-demand support improves newborn care and reduces deaths in the first 28 days of life.
