Summary

This study is testing if sending text messages about the health risks of smoking and vaping can help LGBTQ+ young adults quit or change their tobacco use. Researchers are sending different types of risk messages to 300 participants over 6 weeks to see which approach works best. The goal is to find effective ways to communicate the dangers of using multiple tobacco products, like cigarettes and e-cigarettes, to encourage quitting.
