Can text messages stop HIV? uganda study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07382765
Summary
This study is testing whether a text message program can encourage young adults in Uganda to get tested for HIV and use condoms more often. Researchers will enroll 750 people aged 18-22 and send them interactive texts with quizzes, badges, and advice. They will compare this group to others who don't get the texts to see if the messages lead to safer behaviors.
