Can a smartwatch replace the blood pressure cuff?
NCT ID NCT06573801
Summary
This study tested how well two different wrist-worn blood pressure monitors work compared to the standard 24-hour monitor with an arm cuff. Researchers had 48 adults wear the new devices and the standard monitor to see if the readings matched. The goal is to see if these more convenient, cuffless devices could be reliable enough to help people track their blood pressure more easily in the future.
