Green colonoscopy? study tests reusable water to cut medical waste

NCT ID NCT06688955

Summary

This study is testing whether using filtered, reusable water is safe for colonoscopies. Currently, sterile water in single-use bottles is used, which creates waste. Researchers want to see if reusable water bottles can be used without getting contaminated during the procedure, and if this new system is practical for hospital staff.
