New gadgets aim to simplify sleep apnea diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07485582

Summary

This study aims to test how accurately new and existing devices can diagnose obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) compared to the current gold-standard test. Researchers will enroll 90 adults to wear different monitoring devices overnight while also undergoing the standard sleep study. The goal is to see if newer, simpler technologies can correctly identify who has sleep apnea and how severe it is.
