New 'Smart' insulin system aims to free patients from constant diabetes management
NCT ID NCT07039617
Summary
This study is testing a new automated insulin delivery system called AIDANET for adults with type 1 diabetes. It compares how well the system works in different modes, including a 'full closed-loop' mode that doesn't require meal announcements. The goal is to see if this new system can help people spend more time in their target blood sugar range compared to their current systems.
