Researchers test patients to pinpoint hidden surgery drug allergies
NCT ID NCT06065137
Summary
This study aimed to improve the safety of future surgeries for people who had a bad allergic reaction during a past operation. Researchers tested 50 adult patients by carefully giving them small, controlled doses of the same anesthesia drugs they received before. The goal was to figure out exactly which drug caused the original reaction, so doctors could avoid it next time and use safer alternatives.
