Can your fitbit work as a hospital monitor?
NCT ID NCT07229833
Summary
This study is testing whether Fitbit devices can accurately measure sleep, activity, heart rate, breathing, and oxygen levels in hospitalized patients. Researchers are comparing Fitbit readings against medical-grade monitoring equipment used in hospitals. The goal is to see if consumer wearables could help doctors monitor patients more continuously and potentially catch health declines earlier.
