First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested whether a faster-acting insulin (Lyumjev) works better than standard insulins (Humalog or Novolog) in an automated insulin pump system for teens with type 1 diabetes. Eleven adolescents aged 12 to 22 took part. Researchers used a special conversion factor to set up the pump for Lyumjev and measured how much time blood sugar stayed in a healthy range.
