Summary
This study is testing whether a new smartphone app called EMOCARE can reliably track depression symptoms compared to standard paper questionnaires. Researchers will enroll 104 adults with mild to severe depression who will use the app for 6 weeks while also completing traditional assessments. The goal is to see if this passive monitoring technology matches established depression measurement tools and is acceptable to patients.
