Space helmet vs. oxygen mask: the Zero-G breathing battle

NCT ID NCT07435389

Summary

This study aims to see if a special breathing helmet works better than a standard oxygen mask for astronauts in zero-gravity. Researchers will test 12 healthy volunteers during airplane flights that create short periods of weightlessness. The goal is to gather information to improve astronaut safety by finding the most reliable breathing support system for space missions.
