Doctors test if new heart zapper stops AFib for good
NCT ID NCT07236619
Summary
This study is testing how long a new, targeted electrical pulse treatment keeps a common heart rhythm problem (paroxysmal atrial fibrillation) from coming back. Twenty patients will get the treatment, and then have a planned second procedure 2-3 months later to check if the treated areas of the heart are still blocked. The goal is to see how reliable this new technology is for long-term control of the condition.
