New tool aims to predict kidney failure in hospitalized kids
NCT ID NCT06804200
Summary
This study is testing a computer tool designed to predict which hospitalized children are at high risk for sudden kidney injury. The tool will run in the background of hospital systems, analyzing patient data to see if it can accurately flag kids who will develop kidney problems within 72 hours of entering intensive care. The goal is to validate the tool's accuracy so it could one day help doctors identify at-risk patients earlier.
