Can 3D printed swabs solve COVID test shortages?
NCT ID NCT07469670
Summary
This study aimed to see if new, 3D printed nasal swabs are as safe and accurate as standard swabs for COVID-19 testing. It involved over 1,100 participants, including Veterans and healthcare workers. Researchers directly compared the new swabs to the usual ones to check for problems like nosebleeds and to see if they collected samples just as well.
