Scientists hunt for new clues in testicular cancer blood
NCT ID NCT07463508
Summary
This study aims to discover if bile acid levels in the blood and tumor tissue can act as markers for testicular germ cell cancer. Researchers will compare levels in healthy and cancerous tissue from 20 male patients to see if they correlate with disease stage and predict how well a patient responds to chemotherapy. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day help doctors better understand and monitor this type of cancer.
