Friends helping friends: new study uses social circles to stop HIV

Summary

This study tests two strategies—direct distribution and referral—to see which better gets HIV self-test kits and PrEP information to people in the social networks of current PrEP users. About 320 participants will take part. The goal is to increase HIV testing and connect more people to prevention tools.
