Zapping spread cancer spots: new hope for prostate patients?

Summary
This study is testing if adding precise, high-dose radiation to the standard treatment for prostate cancer that has spread to a few other spots in the body can help men live longer without their cancer getting worse. It will compare two groups of men: one gets standard drugs and prostate radiation, and the other gets that plus targeted radiation to the spread-out tumors. Researchers will also track side effects and quality of life to see if the extra treatment is worthwhile.
