Which drug saves kidneys in liver bleeding emergencies?

Summary

This study compares two medications, terlipressin and somatostatin, in 64 adults with liver cirrhosis who have both acute gastrointestinal bleeding and acute kidney injury. The goal is to see which drug better reverses the kidney damage. Participants will be randomly assigned to one treatment, and researchers will monitor kidney function and any return of kidney problems.
