MS drug could tame rare Virus-Caused paralysis

Summary
This study tests whether teriflunomide, a drug already used for multiple sclerosis, can help people with HAM/TSP, a rare progressive disease that causes leg weakness and other serious problems. About 24 adults with HAM/TSP will take the drug daily for 9 months. Researchers will check safety, immune changes, and how the disease responds.
