First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested a pain-relief method called TENS-WAA, which uses mild electrical pulses on the skin based on acupuncture points, to see if it can ease pain after lung cancer surgery. 156 adults who had keyhole lung surgery received either the real treatment or a fake device. The goal was to find a drug-free way to reduce pain and help people recover faster.
