Does swelling after knee surgery mess with your pain relief machine?
NCT ID NCT06153277
Summary
This study aims to understand how leg swelling after a total knee replacement affects the settings of a TENS machine, a common device used for pain relief. Researchers will compare the machine's settings on the swollen, operated knee to the patient's other healthy knee and to measurements taken before surgery. The goal is to gather knowledge to help doctors and therapists use these pain relief devices more safely and effectively for patients recovering from knee surgery.
