NCT ID NCT07307703

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple, non-invasive device called TENS can help people recover from gallbladder removal surgery. TENS uses mild electrical pulses through the skin to calm nerves. Researchers want to see if it reduces anxiety before surgery, lessens pain afterward, and boosts overall satisfaction. About 80 adults having laparoscopic gallbladder surgery will take part, with some receiving TENS plus standard care and others standard care alone.
