Zap away surgery worries? device trial aims to ease pain without pills
NCT ID NCT07307703
Summary
This study is testing if a simple, non-invasive device called TENS can help people feel better before and after gallbladder removal surgery. TENS uses mild electrical currents on the skin to stimulate nerves. Researchers will compare 80 patients who receive TENS along with standard care to those who receive standard care alone, measuring anxiety, pain, and overall satisfaction.
