Zap your migraine away? new headband device tested

NCT ID NCT07015125

Summary

This study tested a new, wearable device that uses gentle electrical pulses on the head or neck to try to stop migraine pain. 160 adults with frequent migraines tried the device during three separate migraine attacks, comparing real stimulation to a fake (sham) treatment. The main goal was to see if the device safely reduced pain within one hour.
