Summary

This study checked if a generic version of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (a drug used for HIV and hepatitis B) works the same as the brand-name drug Viread. 47 healthy Chinese adults took both versions under fasting and fed conditions. The goal was to see if the generic is safe and releases the drug into the blood at the same rate.
