Elbow pain showdown: blood plasma vs. botox vs. steroids
NCT ID NCT02325063
Summary
This study aimed to compare three different injection treatments for tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) to see which best reduces pain. It tested platelet-rich plasma (PRP, made from a patient's own blood), Botox (botulinum toxin), and steroid (corticoid) injections. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 13 participants, so no final results are available.
