Summary

This study tested whether a new medication called Teneligliptin (MP-513) could safely help control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. It involved 203 Japanese adults who were managing their diabetes with diet and exercise alone. For 12 weeks, participants received either the new drug or a placebo pill to compare their blood sugar levels.
