New study tests Clot-Busting drug in elderly stroke patients

Summary

This study looks at how well and how safely the clot-busting drug tenecteplase works in very old patients (80 years or older) who have had a stroke. Researchers will track 392 patients for 90 days to see if they recover with little or no disability. The goal is to gather real-world evidence to guide treatment in this age group.
