First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether the clot-busting drug tenecteplase can help people having a stroke who recently took a direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) blood thinner. About 912 adults will receive either tenecteplase or a placebo to see if it improves their ability to function independently 90 days later. The goal is to find a safe and effective treatment for this group, who are often excluded from clot-busting therapy.
