First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at two surgical options for young adults (ages 18-45) who still have knee pain, swelling, or trouble moving after having part of their meniscus removed. One option uses donated meniscus tissue, the other uses the patient's own hamstring tendon. The goal is to see which one helps people feel better and function better over two years. Forty people will take part, and their progress will be tracked with questionnaires and MRI scans.
