Summary
This early-phase study tested a combination of two drugs, temsirolimus and cetuximab, in 45 adults with advanced or metastatic solid tumors that no longer responded to standard treatments. The goal was to see if blocking two cancer growth pathways at once could be safe and more effective. The study primarily measured side effects and tumor shrinkage.
