First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This pilot study is testing a nerve block injection in the jaw muscles of 20 healthy adults. Researchers will measure how bite force and muscle activity change after the injection, at 30 minutes, 2 hours, and 2 weeks. Participants will also share their experience. The goal is to understand how the injection works, not to treat a disease.
