Scientists test if tempeh chips are a good protein source
NCT ID NCT07251842
Summary
This study aims to measure how well the protein in tempeh chips can be used by the body. Researchers will recruit 6 healthy women of childbearing age to eat special diets containing either standard protein or protein from tempeh chips. By tracking breath samples, they will calculate how much of a key protein building block from the chips the body can actually absorb and use.
