First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether a telerehabilitation coaching program (TeleSCoP) helps people who have had an ischemic stroke feel more confident managing their health, lower risk factors like blood pressure and cholesterol, and avoid repeat hospital stays. About 60 stroke survivors will receive either standard care or extra coaching via phone calls and videos over three months. The goal is to see if this support improves recovery and long-term health habits.
