Virtual therapy for shoulder pain: a new way to heal at home?

NCT ID NCT07321444

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested whether doing physiotherapy at home through video calls works as well as going to a clinic for people with rotator cuff injuries. 68 adults with shoulder problems were split into two groups: one did rehab online, the other in person. Researchers checked their shoulder function, pain, and quality of life after 2, 5, and 8 weeks to see if the online option is a good alternative.
