Can a smartphone app help stop leaks? new study tests remote pelvic training for menopause-related bladder issues
NCT ID NCT07151170
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares two ways of doing pelvic floor muscle exercises for postmenopausal women with urinary incontinence: one group does the exercises at home with remote guidance (telerehabilitation), and the other group does them in person with a therapist. The goal is to see if the remote option works just as well to reduce leaks, strengthen muscles, and improve quality of life. About 54 women aged 45-65 will take part, and the results could make it easier for women to get help without traveling to a clinic.
