Shoulder surgery recovery goes digital: can video therapy match In-Person care?
NCT ID NCT05499728
Summary
This study tested whether physical therapy delivered through video calls (telerehabilitation) works as well as traditional in-person therapy for people recovering from shoulder replacement surgery. Researchers randomly assigned 93 patients to receive either video-based or in-person therapy starting six weeks after their operation. The goal was to see if both methods produced similar improvements in shoulder movement, pain levels, and overall recovery.
