Home workouts fight diabetes: can simple exercises boost fitness?

NCT ID NCT06222086

Summary

This study tested whether a program of simple, equipment-free exercises (calisthenics) delivered through video calls (telerehabilitation) could help people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers worked with 40 adults to see if this home-based exercise routine could improve their body's oxygen use during activity, muscle function, and overall physical fitness. The goal was to find a convenient way to help manage diabetes and potentially reduce related health risks.
