Can your phone be your physical therapist? new study tests virtual recovery after hip surgery
NCT ID NCT06238960
Summary
This study is testing whether adding video-based physical therapy (telerehabilitation) to standard in-person sessions helps people recover better after hip replacement surgery. Researchers will compare pain levels, mobility, and patient satisfaction between two groups: one receiving only in-person therapy and another receiving a mix of in-person and video sessions. The goal is to see if the combined approach is just as effective for recovery.
