Phone calls boost home blood pressure monitoring in new study
NCT ID NCT07556783
First seen May 06, 2026 ยท Last updated May 06, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a structured phone call from a medical student could encourage people with uncontrolled high blood pressure to bring a home blood pressure log to their next clinic visit. 170 adults with high blood pressure took part. The goal was to see if this simple outreach improved how often patients tracked their blood pressure at home and shared those numbers with their doctor.
