Summary
This study tested whether a short, culturally tailored online soap opera could encourage HIV prevention behaviors in Latina women. Researchers enrolled 95 women in North Carolina to watch four episodes about HIV risks and prevention. The goal was to see if the show increased condom use, HIV testing, and awareness of preventive medications over seven months.
