App aims to cut cancer care phone tag, freeing nurses for urgent needs
NCT ID NCT06381024
Summary
This study tested whether adding a digital monitoring app to standard cancer care could reduce the number of phone calls between patients and hospital staff. It involved 86 adult patients starting oral or intravenous cancer treatment in France. Researchers compared standard care alone to standard care plus the app, tracking calls and satisfaction over four months to see if the digital tool made communication more efficient.
