Can your phone manage your blood pressure as well as a doctor?
NCT ID NCT06524180
Summary
This study is testing whether a telemedicine system can help people with well-controlled high blood pressure maintain their health as effectively as regular in-person doctor visits. Researchers will compare two groups of 364 participants over 12 months: one using an app for remote monitoring and automatic medication refills, and another continuing with usual doctor appointments every 4 months. The goal is to see if the remote approach works just as well for keeping blood pressure in check while potentially reducing clinic visits.
