Virtual checkups for high blood pressure: could a telemedicine system be as good as seeing the doctor?
NCT ID NCT06524180
First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether a telemedicine system can safely replace regular doctor visits for people whose high blood pressure is already well-controlled. About 364 participants will either use the telemedicine system or continue seeing their doctor every 16-18 weeks. The goal is to see if blood pressure stays just as low with telemedicine, while reducing the need for in-person visits.
