Doctors study if virtual visits and simple surveys can improve arthritis care
NCT ID NCT05124782
Summary
This study looked at how doctors care for rheumatoid arthritis patients during virtual visits. Researchers first reviewed past telemedicine records to see how patients were assessed. Then, they tested whether having patients fill out a standard symptom questionnaire before their virtual visit changed the doctor's decisions about treatment, in-person follow-up, or hospitalization.
