Video calls boost hepatitis c cure rates in addiction treatment

Summary

This study looks at whether using video calls with doctors helps people in opioid treatment programs start and finish treatment for Hepatitis C. Researchers will review the medical records of 200 patients to see how many began treatment and were cured. The goal is to make this telemedicine approach a standard part of care to improve access to effective Hepatitis C medication.
