First seen May 15, 2026 ยท Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether follow-up appointments by phone or video (telemedicine) can help cancer patients with chronic pain more than traditional in-person clinic visits. About 193 adults with cancer pain took part. The goal was to see if telemedicine reduces how much pain interferes with daily life, and whether it is cost-effective.
